Christian tradition especially recalls his prayerful courage when Arius sought restoration, and Alexander became honored as a bishop who guarded the Church through humility, firmness, and trust in God. He died around 337 and remains beloved as a witness to orthodoxy, faithful leadership, and perseverance in times of doctrinal struggle.
