Mother of God and Christ Child – Icon Print, New Baby Gift

MOTHER OF GOD AND CHRIST CHILD ORTHODOX ICON PRINT

A reverent sacred artwork of the Mother of God with the Christ Child, shown in traditional Byzantine style against a radiant gold background. The Greek letters identify Mary as the Theotokos, meaning “God-bearer,” while the cross halo of the Child proclaims Him as Jesus Christ. In Christian tradition, the Virgin Mary is honored as the humble one who received the Word of God and brought the Savior into the world. This tender image of Mother and Child speaks of maternal love, divine protection, mercy, and the blessing of new life. It is especially meaningful for families welcoming a baby, mothers in the season of new motherhood, and homes that wish to keep Christ at the center of family life.
