Saint Colette of Corbie – Icon Print, Expecting Mother Gift

SAINT COLETTE OF CORBIE ICON PRINT

A sacred artwork of Saint Colette of Corbie, the French abbess and reformer remembered for renewing the Poor Clares and founding the Colettine Poor Clares. Born in 1381 in Corbie, France, and dying in 1447 in Ghent, she is honored for her life of prayer, poverty, and courageous spiritual leadership. She is shown with a shepherd’s staff and lamb, symbols that can suggest gentle care, purity, and pastoral tenderness. Saint Colette is also cherished as a patron saint of women seeking to conceive, expectant mothers, and sick children, which makes her image especially meaningful for families praying for new life and protection. With its luminous gold background and solemn icon style, this artwork brings a peaceful and prayerful presence to the home.
